what you will but Sinister Industry is here to stay.
A shameless squad of digital deviants based in
Belfast, Northern Ireland, Sinister Industry was
formed in 2006 and a funk laden machine monster
was born.
With a sound underpinned by synth laden analogue technology, SI send it home utilising contemporary 1210 turntables, an assortment of Akai samplers and a variety of vintage kit from the outboard toy box, there’s no risk of stale dish from the Sinister kitchen. | | | | | With experience ranging from sessions in Edywn Collin’s studio, remix duties for a plethora of crossover acts, a magazine cover mount for IDG magazine and recording with Sex Pistols legend Paul Cook, it was only a matter of time before uber hip Berlin label Made to Play came calling.
With forthcoming appearances penciled in for The Panama Bar in Berlin, the Sinister stable are currently on studio lock down with new material set to emerge from the ether in late 2008. The high voltage depth charge into the world of speaker wobbling ASBO acid house continues unabated. Cover your ears.
